Project Goal: To create a dining and entertainment area that would take advantage of the property's existing grade changes.
Project Description: The first step to creating this design was to change the main access into the proposed space from the existing deck by moving the deck's stairs. This allowed us to design a direct circulation path into the kitchen area. The kitchen has a grill, a refrigerator, and storage. In addition, it was designed with small seating benches on both sides so that people can sit and talk with the cook at the grill. A lower patio is used for seating and lounging. The entire space is surrounded by a combination of sun and shade plants and a stepping stone path leads users to the driveway.
