Project Goal: To use the existing topography and natural surroundings as the inspiration for creating an outdoor entertainment area.
Project Description: Located in the middle of an open field adjacent to a beautiful pond, this project is perfectly situated to use natural stone and native plantings. This phased project recently finished the outdoor kitchen. Future phases include the construction of a pond and installation of a large-scale native planting. The project focused on using the topography to create terraces, on creating different areas for seating and lounging, and on establishing a style of stonework that complimented both the architecture of the house and the environment surrounding it. Native plantings will help to soften the stonework and allow the design to blend seamlessly into its environment.
