Project Goal: To create a welcoming front yard and extend this family’s living space to include the backyard.

Project Description: In the front yard,  a curvilinear path invites the user to view the water feature and enjoy the full-sun gardens. The plantings surrounding the path are loosely structured, colorful, and low maintenance. The backyard patio uses a combination of dimensional and irregular bluestone and is divided into a seating/entertaining area and a fire pit area. Built-in granite furniture is another added feature and is repeated throughout the design. A previously invasive-infested, shade woodland area now contains pathways and plantings that invite the family to explore their back yard.
