Vacation Is Better Than Reality! March 17, 2009

A Cloud Rainforest GardenAfter 10 very active days in Costa Rica, we are back to reality. It's been a bit difficult to adjust from the perfect 80 degree weather that we left back to the 30 degree weather in Pawtucket! Nonetheless, we had a great time. Lots of adventures, great food, and truly inspiring landscapes. Costa Rica is a country of rain forests, grassy lowlands, jungles, and coastal destinations. A River ArchI fell in love the variety of textures and colors available in their plant pallette. I'm ready to design a tropical paradise for any willing client! That is, as tropical as it can get in New England. Neil had a great time building his stone sculptures at every opportunity. It was amusing to watch the tour buses slow down so that people could watch what he was doing.

Now that vacation is over, we are gearing up to start our spring. We'll be finishing a project that we started at the end of November. Stay tuned to see the transformation of this project. It will be dramatic!
